help identify cue

Got this cue on trade a few days ago, need help with age and value. It is in exe cond, and s good shooter. Thanks!

I would do a search for Huebler catalogs, and see if anything matches. There might be a couple Huebler enthusiasts here who would have the info you're looking for. I think most would pay in the 100-200 range for a cue like that. I don't know for sure.
 
I am in the $200-300 range for it. It isn't a real early cue, those cues had Huebler vertically.

Now for my rant.

This is the kind of cue that most beginning players should buy, (assuming all straight etc). Its a great cue for the dollar, verses the new crap (IMO) for $300+ production cues (ie decals, and other crap).

This is nice cue.

Without seeing the whole cue, I believe it's an HJ model, probably mid-90's for age. With the Huebler case it might bring $350-$400 depending on condition. Hope that helps.
 
Dah ! never thought to read the label. lol.
I am just curious about the model number and the app. worth it really is in nice cond. It has a 5/16x18 joint with a steel pin.
 
Huebler H-J made from june 1986 until about mid 1990

Dude, that's not a rant (by the internet's standards anyways). That's just solid advice. Those cues play great!
