The weight bolt reminds me of a very old Joss that I have. The pin is a 5/16 x 14 though. Not sure if yours is from the pic.

The weight bolt/bumper reminds me of an old import I have somewhere in the basement. I think the one I have was marketed with the name of "Cobra" if I remember right. I remember the weight bolt was a mile long and weighed more than the rest of the cue butt by itself.

Cobra cues don't have a weight bolt that you can see (possible one inside I guess). The bumper screw is threaded straight into the plastic butt cap. Cobra Professional cues do, but the weight bolt is completely different from this. I can post a pic of both if needed and have a number of examples.

I will admit that the bumper screw looks a lot like a Cobra bumper screw, black and Phillips head and looks like the correct thread.

I am speaking of the older Cobra cues as imported by Harold Miller's company by the way, I am not familiar with the newer ones.

I am extremely familiar with these cues and their various cousin brands and would highly doubt this cue is one of them unless it was modified.

Of course, a weight bolt could be added to a cue.

And of course, it's always possible I am wrong.

The weight bolt looks like the one in my Lucasi.
Maybe made in the same factory?
Except the Lucasi has a push in bumper.

I am sure anything is possible but here is an early 90s model Cobra sneaky.

Yes, that's the sneaky. I forgot the sneaky had a weight bolt. But it is still a black Philips head, just as I said.

I have an example of the sneaky as well as Cobras with a butt cap and the Cobra Professional.

The ones with a butt cap have a bumper screw straight into the plastic though.

At any rate, clearly a different bolt from the one in the original post, as I was saying.

As your pic shows the pin is like the Taiwan cues.

EDIT: Does that cue have the Cobra logo on the forearm?
