I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a stick with a unique quick release joint. The top of the joine pin looks like a trailer hitch ball, then a straight post about 1 inch long. The threads start just above the joint coller. Sorry for no pic but i'm kinda forum-tarted. I'll try to get a good pic of it and get it posted.

Oh ya and the reason i'm asking is because the stick itself has no markings on it. It's a beautiful well crafted stick, but im at a loss on who crafted it. Any info about the joint pin would be a great help.

Thanks in advance.

Ok i cant EVER get the photo to show in the window, but here is a link to it

If you are talking about the joint of the first cue pictured it is Asian Import cue, without a photo of the entire cue it hard to tell, but it could be an older J&J kaiser cue or it could be another import cue but the name escapes me.

I have never seen that pin on anything but import cues.

Have a nice day

I have a Quest that has that joint pin. Not what I would call beautifully crafted though.
