If you go to there store, they have tons of stuff in stock evidently. I ordered my cue on Monday, and I had it on Friday...and that was WITH shipping from Taiwain. Can't beat that

So, after playing with it for awhile what do you think?

You'll have to google "shorty" to get an answer to your question.

You might have to blow in his ear first.

PROTECTION is recommended;)

Yep, it's most likely a Tai-can Cue. It may have the "American" prints on them because Bill Stroud of Joss west cues is one of its advisers.

One of the Owners of P&C Billiard Supply is Paul Yu, he'll be the guy you'll most likely to transact with. This guy is very easy to deal with, I was able to buy my Instroke leather cowboy from him.

Some cues come with 2 shafts. You can probably ask Paul to give you just one shaft if you want to get the cue at a cheaper price. Here's Paul's email add if you have questions: poolpaul@gmail.com :)

Here's P&C Billiards Supply Link to its items:

I don't think that is exactly the same cue. However, if the one pictured from you is made in Taiwan, then where are these cues available? I would like to see one in person.
There is a whole thread about the quality of some of the Asian companies cues improving. Many of them are direct copies of popular styles like Gina or SW over there. I'll see if I can link the thread.

Ooops didnt read through the whole thread... look up 2 posts. (3-4-07)

name that cue

It could be a Linds cue the American cue maker that moved to the phillipines. He makes a very nice cue.

I paid $243 shipped for it and I got it from eBay from P&C Billiards...it was all in chinese from Tate's link, but I was able to make it out.

I got the ebony and purpleheart SW copy, two shafts...very straight. Cue looks and feels fantastic...really anxious to hit some balls with it, maybe Sunday.

i GOT THE Ebony and Rosewood Number 7. For the price, what the heck.

playability

so, how is its playability?:)

I just hit the balls around for a half hour but it plays pretty nice. Softer hit than my Ed Young.

Raemondo hit it as well and he has more experience with different cues and has a better feel for the hit and he said he will probably get one. He said it hit similar to a SW. I wouldn't know about that.

nice find

I stumbled across this thread while looking for info on lucasi cues.

I think these taiwanese cues are great value for the money.

P&C's Billiard supply has the following statement on their imported cues:

You are viewing a great cue what made by Tai-Can factory who has the best technology ( Finish, Science, Choosing woods, etc) and equipment for making production cues in Asia. Bill Stroud (Joss west cue) is one of Tai-Can's adviser and He imports the newest equipments from JW cues and leads Tai-Can workers to use them well. Today, Tai-Can is the biggest, most famous, best factory on cue making for production cues. Several famous brands of production cues also are made by Tai-Can such as Universal, Lucasi, BCE, Buffalo, Adam, Licos, etc. But, Tai-Can is a name of Factory, not a brand of cues. It?s just a Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). So, they will not add their logo or name on cues except for added ?Licos? or our own names or logos. Licos( Universal ) company is the only one who is the an agent of Tai-Can in Taiwan then we order cues from Licos company and sell them in Taiwan. Tai-Can cues are not only the main billiard goods of ours but also we do believe that it?s the best for our customers. We have had good result for selling Tai-Can cues in here and most of our customers who bought Tai-Can cues from us are satisfied always in the past so, we decided to let overseas people can play pool with a Tai-Can cue then started to post them on Ebay for sale. Don?t feel hesitantly if you have any question about these Tai-Can cues please feel free to contact us.

KC pool cue

Own 4 of these cues. Bought them all on e-bay new from 2 vendors. One claims that they are made in Europe and distributed in the US. The other claims that they are not from Europe, but made in the US with parts from international suppliers. Nevertheless. I don't care. I love the Hit on these cues. The cue that listed for "Buy it now" and "best offerr" for $1499.00. I stole it at auction for $145. They seem to be going at auction for $270 - $300. It has such a solid hit that I no longer use any of the sticks that I have collected over time. It has such feel that my game has slowed to a stroke that makes my opponents question their hard hitting approach to billiards. Last week I took out the #1 player (out of 80) and his 3 team members, by just continually rolling balls in the pockets. What is odd that this stick has a metal to wood joint, and the less expensive versions of the KC line have the metal to brass joint. The latter version they call "the Hit" is a very nice cue. I got 2 at auction for about $75.00 each. Also got the the break and jump cue for $70 plus ship.
Got a pool room stacked with Mcdermotts that no longer interest me.

Shop wisely and you will get a great bargain with KC

I got one of these cues on a trade in and it has a 3x8 11 brass pin.I test hit every cue I get in on trade to make sure their is no weird buzzes or clicks. As far as hit, comparing it to a southwest is very accurate.I was really shocked at the playability of this cues.I've played with a Southwest and the sad thing is,if I had to choose between them both playing for the cash, the Southwest wouldn't be the one in my case.Just my thoughts Thanks:)

Kc

Just picked up one of those KC "The Hit" cues at a local pawn shop for $20.00.

I must admit, it's a pretty good playing cue and has earned its place on my daily player cue rack.
