Well, it's b-day time again and I'm just happy to still be above ground! But, I now have a dillema. I just received a $250 gift certificate to Seybert's and I need help spending it. Not a bad problem to have, really.

I'm not interested in a new cue or case, but I may be in the market to try some a new tip, chalk, etc.

I guess my question is what is in your case that you just can't live without (other than the cue - ha ha)?

My current billiards inventory consists of the following:

- 1 4 X 9' Diamond pro table
- 1 3.5' X 7' valley bar box (with new rails and Simonis 860 waiting to be installed)
- 2 sets of Super Aramith balls (including the new Duramith set)
- 1/2 case of master chalk
- Several misc. house cues including some nice antique butterfly brunswicks)
- Tony Ryan cue extension
- playing cue
- 1 breaking cue

Also, I'm always open to suggestions of pool literature/videos. Is IPAT a good tool? Others suggestions?

Man, that $250 is just burning a hole in my wallet...

Also, it sounds like you need a jump cue...You shouldn't have a problem finding a good one for under $250.

You should definitely have an Ultimate Tip Tool.

99% Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol. Great for a quick clean, leaves your shaft very smooth.

A towel for cleaning.

Burnisher leather. For after you use the Alcohol.

Q Smooth I only recommend using it for a real good cleaning.

A Coin holder is nice to have.

Don't for get your lucky charm. :thumbup:

Ultimate tip tool looks good. Don't have one of those.

I do have a J/B though. It's was another gift from 5 or so years ago, a Player's. Still crushes 'em pretty good to this day...

Definately need a cleaner & burnisher - I'll pick those up for sure, thanks.

I absolutely remember to carry my lucky charm! In fact, maybe I'll buy a second one. God knows I need it...
 
You should buy me a piece of Kamui chalk. Then it's a gift so you don't have to be so cheap, and you still get to try it, lol :)

We'll see about that - he he. You will certainly be trying out my bar boxes new rails and cloth though. I'll let you know once their installed...
 
How about a three day Pool School.

I will honor that $250 as a down payment to the Master's Pool School.

I didn't see it in your inventory, but how are you carrying around your Tony Ryan cue extension? Partially-inserted into one of the pockets on your case?

If so, you might be interested in the Tony Ryan cue extension carry pouch, that velcros to the outside of your case:

It frees-up your pouch, doesn't snag on everything you walk by (as a Tony Ryan does, sticking out of one of the case's pockets), and it's very convenient.

Measles ball comes to mind immediately, the I think you should browse through the instructional section and buy whatever you want.

I've got one, but it does look like I will need another to go with the other ball set. Good call.
 
Tip tools, can't have enuff of em.
See if they have the Sandman curved tip scuffer/shaper.

I checked, they do have them and at 12 dollars, thats a pretty good deal.
Permanent grit like the Willard so you'll never have to change sandpaper again.

Now you have $238 left.

And BTW, have a great Birthday.
