I was lucky enough to have the good people at Accu Stats donate the entire 9 days worth of coverage for the DCC to me free of charge. I had planned to purchase the entire event anyway, but seeing as that I have my paypal set up through my chequeing account and don't use a credit card, It would not have been possible to view the events. As a thank you I would like to use the money I saved to purchase Accu Stats videos from the website.

I have $70 give or take to spend.

I am a big fan of Rotational Pool both 9 and 10 ball.

Please give me your input on what you would buy, your feedback on videos that you own already etc.

Thanks Again for the great coverage Jim and Pat.

A lot of people get the close matches. I prefer to get the blowouts, because you are guaranteed to see someone in dead stroke.

if you like 8 ball, the 2001 accu-stats invitational is one of the best tournies i have ever watched.

Rotation Games

Dave:

Get the Rotation exhibition between Efren and Busty at the Derby from a few years ago.

Good little match. You get to see Efren break and run 12 balls. NASTY!

Check out the AZB Marketplace has quite a few accustats VHS videos at close out prices of $5.

Last week I picked up Accustat's Capelle on 9-ball, Archer versus Reyes for only $5. The tape came with a comprehensive 180 page documenting key shots in the hill-hill match. The selection of quality makes it worthwhile to buy a VCR if you don't have access to one.

Wait a couple days for the DCC 9-ball finals. I'm certain there will be some good stuff & pre-order is only $15.

Thanks for the imput Samm. Great Job by the way. It's tough to want to purchase 9 ball from DCC because they are only races to 7, which can be exciting however, as a accu stats rookie I have so much to get. I ended up purchasing the 10 ball ring game from 2008 (I'm kinda interested to see how Fatboy hits em) and I've always loved ring games. Also I got a couple of matches from my favorite player Mika (for obvious reasons) the 2008 us open 9 balls finals vs Ronnie Alcano, he was in top form. Also a match where he plays Johnny Archer and shoots a perfect 1.000. I went a little over budget and threw in Jay Helferts book "Pool Wars"

Thanks Again,

Keep up the good work.

If the matches run short they often bundle two together, which is a good deal.

One of my favorite 9 ball matches is Efren Reyes vs. Jimmy Wetch. Efren runs a 6 pack I believe.

Dave,

I'd highly recommend the semifinal in this year's Fatboy Challenge between Johnny Archer and Efren. It's a long race (three hours - Race To 15), and you'll see a lot of good pool by both players.

Jay,

I completely plan on watching that match, That was the one match I wanted to see more than any of the others this year. Unfortunately it occured during the worst of the "technical difficulties" that Accu Stats occured. Thankfully Pat from accu stats had agreed to archive all of the matches anyone had trouble with. I really can't complain as stated before I recieved the whole weeks coverage free of charge thanks to Jim and Pat, but if their is one match I want to see it is that one.

Thanks for everything you do for pool.

I can't wait to read your book.

Dave

The best accustats match to watch IMO, would be strickland vs reyes in the 100,000 Hong Kong Challenge.
