i work at a pool hall and im a female and my boss told me to read a story on here about a girl learning how to play one pocket can someone send me the link if you know what im talking about?

He may be talking about the guy that went in to a pool room and asked the waitress if anyone played one pocket and she said all the tables had 4 pockets. Something like that
She was clueless as to what was going on..

That story was funny as hell!

OFFTOPIC ALERT

I truly believe that it was her manager's fault and not hers. I mean, you need to teach your staff the basics at least. Expecting them to learn is like expecting someone to drive a NASCAR just because He changes the tires.

You are a female named Bill? Damn, remind me to stay away from Memphis.

what you been drinking ? she said she works at the rec. her boss told her aboiut the thread she is inquiring about.

she is logged on using her bosses account " memphis bill". he owns the rec...which is a pool hall i guess. i have heard about the place but have never been there.

I've been to South haven and know Bill rowsey.....

My last trip to Tunica I met Bill and he had this young lady with him.

I got bit up by bedbugs at the best western so it kind of ruined my trip there as far as playing. I got some kind of allergic reaction to the bites and got kind of sick along with the horrible itching. Couldn't sleep. Bad for trying to play good pool. Bill had this girl with him and watched one of my matches.

From what I hear this young lady plays pretty good already.

After Tunica I hooked up with Rhea Brooks and kept her on the road with me until my mother passed about 2 months ago.

Rhea worked on the one pocket herself. I'm not into that game too much. She needed to work on her road survival skills and matching up skills.

When I met her she was almost considered a C player. She lost about 6,000 in Columbus. ohio in the 2 months before I met her.

She's on the road herself now down in Texas and making it on her own. Playing tournaments and matching up with different players.

She has a thread here on AZ about her being on the road without Gene. It's called Rhea, the new chapter without Gene.

We traveled together for about 3 months. it was tough but she learned so much and we talk about once or twice a week.

Bill is a real good guy and runs a real nice room there in Southhaven. I was there about 3 years ago giving lessons teaching Perfect Aim.
