help on shaft please!

I am going to get a new shaft and after reading all the reviews here I can get my hands on, it boiled down to either ss360 by Bob or the ob classic shaft. I need help from here :/
 
I'm going to try the Viking EXACT Shaft, asap. I am intrigued with shaft's engineering & the lines used for sighting.
 
I have both the OB Classic and SS360. The OB is a really good shaft, but the SS360 is even better. It transfers more energy to the cue ball, and has much more feel. There MIGHT be a better LD shaft than the SS360 out there somewhere, but my search has ended.

Be warned, once you try the shaft, it'll be difficult to resist ordering a complete cue. Mine works well with a number of butts, but Bob's 6-pie laminated cocobolo has taken it to a whole new level.

I have had a number of Predator shafts and found them to be constructed of inferior wood scraps. The wood is very soft compared to a nice solid maple shaft. I spent half my life steaming dings out of them. Just look at them wrong and they dent. No thank you please.

Had an OB Classic Pro for a couple of months and prefer it to my previous 314-2, but not tried a Z2 or SS360 so can't compare. I'm satisfied though. I seem to be improving at controlling the cue ball - a major flaw in my game... but I might still be in the 'honeymoon period'

Thank you for all the inputs! Still looking for players with experience from both ob classic and ss360! I would certainly go for maple shaft if I could handle deflection but apparantly I can't!
 
What about the other LD shafts out there? Some of them quite cheap, like the Katana or Lucasi hybrid?
I have ordered a Lucasi hybrid slim shaft. I can post a update when the shaft arrives.
The Mezz shaft, especially the Hybrid 2 is THE LD shaft, but it`s god a very stiff hit.
Mezz comes out with the WX900 in august, that might be worth holding out for?
 
You don't say what cue you'll be putting it on but I strongly suggest having a non-laminated shaft made by a cue maker. Mine play much, much better than laminated shafts.
 
I've tried OB2, Z2, Jacoby Hybrid Edge and SS360 all in 11.75 mm. Jacoby in 12.75 mm was a very nice shaft but not that low in deflection. I waited 10 weeks for an 11.75 mm from Jacoby. Arrived warped and hit like crap.

SS360 is good but 3rd behind OB2 and Z2 IMHO. OB2 and Z2 near identical. Z2 feels just a tad whippy compared to the OB2 but I'd have no issue playing either one.
