Bcuz he kept telling me he wanted the cue! Told me this many many times. And yes I don't think it will be returned in its original condition.
Furthermore, on the day pmt was made. I told him
I disclosed everything about the cue & it's being sold as is.
Pm u want pm me your cell# & I'll send u the videos of the cue that I captured
15 minutes before packaging.
This has been a nightmare for me & I'll NEVER sale on a forum again. It

The reason the claim even got started was the buyer texted me
I was at work in meetings all day so I didn't respond immediately on his timescale so he opened a claim 15 minutes after he text me. When we were in communication.
And we was talking about this trying to get it handled until he text message me and told me that he wasn't going to talk to me anymore very childish childish with his bipolar attitude & comments & verbal attacks on my freedom of speech

Upon hearing from your customer that there was a problem, why not simply offer that he send you back the cue for a refund?
why put conditions on it?
I could see if it were a brand new unchalked cue that you would want back in the same condition but a well used cue like this, I don't get it.
Did you think the buyer was going to send you back your cue in some lesser condition from what it was in when you had just sent it?
btw, glad you guys are talking - that is a big key to getting things resolved.
