Went to look at this Brunswick to possibly buy. The kid said the place he bought it told him it was a GC. Obviously it's not. At least, not all of it. Can some of you tell what has happened? I've never seen that base on any GC, and it looks like the side rails (skirts?) are missing. All help appreciated!!!

On the bright side, the cloth looks to have been put on very well and the cue and accessory layout in the picture was composed nicely for a good looking presentation.

And some more positive input: I have the same cue holder. It is really good at staying still...hasn't moved from where I put it, yet.

What is the asking price, btw?

Table

The gold crown was not produced without side pocket castings.
However the table you have pictured is a lower end home table that Brunswick produced to mimic the goldcrown but have a price point for home/residential/non-commercial use. ~> I'll bet the aprons busted and crumbled...
How much was they asking for that table you was looking to buy....?

Nice advertisement. Looks like the base from a 20's or 30's model with a GC on top.

There ya go' thats her.. my guess 1960's-1970's era... these superspeed cushions of that era mostly went rock hard..
The best part is that in the Brunswick ad pictured it shows the name plate at the foot of the table....the score keepers go on the foot end and the name plate goes on the head of the table... funny that they have it backwards...

That is what the lady is showing them. She has taken the rack from the wrong end of the table and putting it where the ball return is.

I believe she said, "why are you idiots moving the balls from where they go to, to the other end?".
