Help with a cue stick---Year, etc

Just curious if this is like a normal cue or something worth something before i play with it or anything.

My grandma passed away, and always played pool at her house, and i guess this was "her" cue found in case, so I was just curious.

Let me know, any comments that aren't going to help please don't post, I didn't find much in the way of searching either.

Looks like a department store import from Asia to me. Maybe someone else has seen that label and can be of more help.
A picture of the joint might help also.

Ajay...Taiwanese, 60'-70'...a pretty common import brand back then.

Agree. AJAY was a brand that was made in Taiwan and was commonly available in most department stores that sold sporting goods. AJAY may have been also been produced elsewhere in Asia, but the only ones I ever saw were made in Taiwan. And FWIW, I lived in Taiwan for 3 years in the 70's and saw plenty of them.

how was grandma's game?

Cherish the cue, just because it was hers.
Monitary value means nothing when it comes to something like this.

Grandma and grandpa were great, glad its not worth much ;)

Bank shots were easy for them both, played in tournaments. Not any big times ones.

Wasn't going to sell it but didn't wanna use some classic cue worth thousands and break it lol!
