I have a post in the main forum asking who the cue maker of the cue in the pictures is. I removed the wrap and found the initials B.J. and I believe a D and the date 4/20/99. Can any one help me with who the maker might be. Any help will be appreciated.

I saw this in the other thread and you were thinking it might be BJ U which could have meant that it was owned by a real good young player from North Carolina BJ Ussery a few years ago, just a guess and I hope you find out about the cue.--Leonard

As I stated in the other post, it is deffinately B.J. initials thenI believe a D or it could be B.J. iL - 4/20/99. Some of the writing is faded so it is hard to make out. I have about three diferent guesses on the third initial but no luck so far. It has a 5/16x18 piloted joint. no original shafts. bumper fits into butt with a small L wrench screw that screws into a bigger regular faced screw. Butt weighs 16 oz. Any help is appreciated. As with all cue enthusiasts we like to know what we have our hands on.

Any Pictures?

I bet more help would arrive if you could show pics of the cue and initials

Tx Poolnut posted pictures for me in the main forum for my post there. That's where I started and someone suggested this forum so I posted here. I do not know how to post pics.

Thankyou Shakes for adding other post to this post.

I'm not a cuemaker but I would recommend sending the pics to cue REPAIR folks.

These guys see more variety I would suspect than the makers would.

Just trying to help. Maybe, Ryan at Muellers and Scot at Proficient, Lomax, and the guy from JB in Memphis might be better resources.

Again, just a thought.

Ken
