Got a guy looking to sell this Paradise. The cue needs a little work the shafts have a little taper wobble, the butt has a wobble with the apex being right where the forearm and the wrap meet so it may not be the wood. The forearm ring is cracked and two of the inlays have the points chipped off as shown in the picture. But I may be able to steal it. What do you guys think?

wow!

I be no expert but if you can afford it , buy it. If you can steal it , even better. (Authenticated , of course). Then, IMHO , do not refinish! Try like hell to get provenance on it.

If you want it for your own pleasure, meaning you like the cue & would like to own it, then get it if you can get a deal that is fair to you.

If you are looking at it as an investment to get a good return on, then pass. It'll take immense work to make it straight & clean again, and due to it not being original anymore it'll be less valuable. As a collection piece it looks beautiful. As an investment it looks like a nightmare.

Looks like Wico points, Scot Sherbine at Proficient Billiards can repair and restore that. He has repaired Wico points that have the plastic veneer like this one.

Here is a perfect example.

didn't fast lenny snap one up a while back and have it fixed. Not sure on the member but I remember seeing that palmer b/f and after the restore of the point and you are correct....it was an amazing repair job.

I just had a WICO point Palmer cue repaired by Scot Sherbine. This cue is a Mali, there is no doubt.
