Hi fellow AZers!!
Picked this up recently and was hoping to get any info I could.
I've never seen 'Personal' on one these. And this has a leather wrap!!
Looks all original.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Later production was Adam and Schmelke. I believe that's a Schmelke.

The Personal cues aren't uncommon. I have one.

I would have to find my notes on this to be sure about models, production dates, and manufacturers. My memory is failing.

If the butt and shaft are stamped with a number near the joint that's Adam. That's for sure.

Echoing Chopdoc, it's a Schmelke blank, no matching numbers on joint and shaft, then it was finished by Schmelke in Wisconsin. If it does have matching numbers, then it was finished in Japan by Adam.

Either way $150 to $200 dollar cue

I have seen these cues come up on auction sites for years. Always thought that I should have one in my stable of cues. On Ebay, sellers ask a crazy price but like others have indicated, not that collectable.
Certainly a cool period cue.

It was technically the replacement for the Willie Hoppe Professional, so yes any collection should have one!

The trick is NOT to pay eBay level prices...

I get it. I never really liked the parts of these that were not Willie Hoppesk.
I always liked the point veneer colors, but going just short of the gaudy joint and the not so brass rings on the lower end...not so much.
I will eventually have one, so I still like them kinda sorta.

One is stamped w '572' near the joint. That's an Adam, I take it??
