I have a good straight Bludworth shaft with an ivory ferrule where the threads are stripped. Does anyone make an insert or can this be repaired?
Thanks

No one will makes an insert for this pin. What needs to be done is have the hole bored & plugged with a wood dowel or phenolic/material of your choice. It can then be bored true again and tapped good as new. But...here is the 2nd part of your problem. Blud's pin requires a special tap that not many cuemakers have. I believe Mr. Webb has one...it'd really be easiest or best to send it to a cuemaker with the correct tap and let them correct the problem for you as its a pretty simple fix.

Most cue makers or repair guys can plug with maple or other hardwood also phenolic and re-tap. Better than new if done right.

Yes, it can be repaired. The only problem, as previously pointed out, is that Bludworth has his own proprietary pin and tap. Very few people can complete the repair because of that custom tap.
