Help with value of Tim Scruggs cue

I'm a big fan of white with green spec wraps - I love old school style.

The problem is that if you play with it, it doesn't stay white with green spec. It gets to be a gross gold color.

To the OP - the cue looks great, and I hope you enjoy playing with it.
I always make fun of this guy at the pool hall, he's kind of a weirdo and plays with a pool glove on both hands......maybe he's on to something 🤣🤣

The current price of cues blow my mind but since it's a Scruggs I'd say you could get your money out of it today. I seem plain Jane cues from no name cuemakers for $1,500 on the for sale items forum.

Regarding the wrap I can't answer the question. It might be worth more to a collector with the original wrap but the desirable thing about Scruggs cues is the playability and a person looking to buy it as a player might not care about the wrap as long as the rest of the cue is solid. Scruggs cues should be hitting balls and not collecting dust in a display.

Awesome cue. Do not change wrap. Who cares if you over paid a little (I do not think you over paid at all). You will get a lifetime of pleasure out a wonderful cue.

Already did. See the pics he posted? Looks great imo. I hate linen.
