Help with wood I.d.

This may be the wrong forum but here goes
Can someone please tell me WTF this is so I can find some and have a
Cue made from it ?
Please help

I don't think that's a wood I have never come across any wood that looks like that. I saw a cue made with something that looked like that. The cue was made with, I think some kind of resin. Not sure, but if that's wood I want some too.

It's called Turkish Taffy swirl wood. Very rare. Pool cue sized squares are impossible to find and if the wood is turned too fast it gets gooey and loses it's shape. :grin-square: Martin
