ok i have junior nationals in like 5 or 6 days and i havent played alot since i quit working at the local pool place and i need to get as good as i was or atleast able to win some. i would greatly apreciate if u guys could give me tips on playing or just drills to play cuz i am goin to play on wed and thurs.

thanks

My advice is to practice the game the you are going to play in the tournament. Play for as long as you can even 6 or 8 hours. Many hours of practicing makes you more comfortable at the table. Do not worry about drills just before tournament.

Practise as much as you can, but don't play at all on the day before the tournament. You might even go to the pool room to watch, but don't play. You'll find yourself more motivated in the tournament, because you didn't play the previous day...

Getting ready

Practice your weakness. You know what they are. Play and practice as much as you can before the tournament.

You need a combination of competitive practice and drills. Make sure that some of your drills stress pocketing, some of them are speed-oriented, and some of them are position play oriented.

If you said you were hitting them good,Then you can still hit them good .Just put in some time at the table .keep your kool and you'll do fine. Keep in mind you made it this far and you can go all the way .GOOD LUCK .You'll find your Deadstroke .... ;)
