Helstetter CCS series wood pin cues

good grab, kevin. i had my eye on these but didn't pull the trigger. looks like you're hooked on these cues now.

Larry

Yours has been sitting here because I don't have the heart to chalk it so I was happy to get these to try out. Plus I was sorta mentioned in the ad so I was a sucker. Plus, the price was right so there you go.

Hope all is well.

Kevin

i've got a few ccs's, used and mint, that i bought from carl conlon's estate. send me a pm if you're serious -

A kid walked into clicks this past week with a wrapped "flame" (I forget which # that is) in EXCELLENT condition, two nice shafts and a minty centennial case.

Just something his uncle gave him.

My conscience got the best of me, I told him what he had and to take care of it and what it might be worth. :banghead:

Old thread I know, but where can I get shafts for these CCS specials? are any of the Longoni, or Hanbat shafts the same pin?

I'm probably wanting two, but if the price is right; Ill get 4. I believe there is a place in the UK that sells adam shafts also, but shipping might be a bit steep.

In early 1990 I bought 2 cues with one extra shaft from Mr Conlon at his home. At the time he didn't have any more shafts or I would have gotten one more.

PS I have style in the pic as posted by larrynj1 - cue #2 and a #5 with no wrap (aka ccs-9).

Old thread bump.

Any line on replacement shafts? I also could use some new rubber inserts for the butts. One of mine has started to dry rot and crumble.

Cues are still fantastic, and in great shape after all these years. I would just like to retire the original shafts to preserve them. I realize they aren't super valuable to most people, but they are a cool piece. Especially for those that spent a lot of time playing at the Union pool hall at the U.
