This is the best news I have had so far this year....Nobody is more hated in the pool world than Henesse if you took a vote among players he would get at least 98 percent of the votes.....

Thank you Sparky for finally doing what so many before you wanted to see done.....

Henesse is the most disrespectful down right rude pool player on the planet that can actually play and its got to the point that nobody even wants to gamble with him even if they are stealing............

Sparky you got 50 coming for a nice steak dinner next time i see you...On behalf of the pool world just want to say thank you Sparky...

Let the bumps start for everyone that was happy to hear this news....

It's not the first time someone has punched him during a match...

Although if he was being sharked like JCIN reported than this time it wasn't his fault. I for sure would have said something.

Shane was well advised to not listen to what he was saying.;)


I don't know SPARKY (is SPARKY a nickname and is it clue applicable to his personality traits?) but I've known HENNEY for many years. Fine, polite young man when NOT in the pit, BUT, can be very difficult to handle by some when he is.

Shame SPARKY flew off the handle, was banned and lost his chance of bankin some bucks...

I only see Henessee at the DCC so I'm not familiar with him & his personality. This past DCC a friend & I were watching matches in the tournament room late one night and Henessee was matched up with someone in there. My friend (top well known player) mentioned that Henessee has asked him numerous times to play but my friend always has and always will decline.

In a nutshell he said that Henessee is a jerk. He's got a really bad temper and if he's down, he won't hesitate to shark you. Because of this, my friend will never play him outside of tournament play.

That night or the following is when Henessee matched up with Shane in the action room. Shane said Henessee was sharking him so big nasty left the TAR booth to go sit down next to the table. I don't know what, if anything was said by big nasty but he did return to the booth about a half hour later.

In less than 24 hrs I not only heard about Henessee being a disrespectful opponent but I also witnessed it.
 
i'm assuming they're referring to sparky ferrell, a really strong shortstop from the carolinas i think?


he has a short temper too, so if he was getting sharked by henn im sure he woulda popped him one
 
Good I'm glad he got popped if he was sharking the other guy. If more of them would get a fx jaw for sharking most of it would stop. It only goes on if you let it go on. Johnnyt

in the other thread JCIN said that Sparky's woman was allegedly sharkying Jonathan. when Sparky told him to stop talking about his woman, he continued and that was when he got hit. it sounded to me like Hennessee was being a smart a*@ after he noted that he thought Sparky's gal was sharking him..

I wasn't there, but I want the right one to get popped. If it was the girl that was sharking for her bf then she needs to get popped by a biker chick for $50. All I'm saying is someone needs to get popped when that crap goes down. Sorry I'll shut up now. I'm just in one of those popping moods tonight. Johnnyt
 
and you guys wonder why pool isn't respected .....? gee....could it have something to do with the morons who would do anything to win... ? if you need to shark someone , or " put the rack " on someone , you are a piece of shit , not a pool player .................

Yeah Hennessee can be annoying while hes playing, but not many people in the pool world have the heart and courage to play the game like he does. He never gives up and fights as hard as anyone at the table. Im speaking of his pool ability not his conduct. And Sparky loves to get a good sucker punch in when he can. He punced a friend of mine a couple of years ago in Atlanta because my buddy had loaned him $100 a couple of months earlier and he had been trying to collect it ever since. When my buddy saw him in Atlanta and asked "can I get that $100 you owe me?" Sparky sucker punched him. My buddy got up, dusted himself off and said "ok, now can I get that $100 you owe me?" Oh yeah....he NEVER did get the money.

Hennesse

Wow when I read the title to the thread I thought it was someone joking about the match at the Derby on table 18 with me and Hennesse. Everything was fine until he gets down 2 or 3 games. I played him in a tourn in SC earlier this year and he wins 7-5 and is the nicest guy on the planet. I am up 6-3 last Saturday at the Derby in the 9 ball event and he starts squealing like a stuck hog. He dogs a seven ball and yells out "it must be a f ing bad dream" I shoot and he is throwing his sponsors "Pat Diveney" cue on the ground. I mean slamming it to where if the floor wasnt carpeted he would have broken it. After getting sharked every single game (i usually can laugh it off and finish the set) but he would not shut up, slamming the cue over and over in my path of stroke and having his ipod screaming and just plain out being an ass. I told him to stop crying like a 5 year old and shut up but he did not stop. I had to lose my temper to get the point across to him and then his girlfriend along with him go running to the director, lol. Anyway, it got the best of me just as he intended with me losing 7-6. It is amazing that the run ins Hennesse has had with players just in my area, (Stevie, S Rabon, BJ Ussery, Jim Jennings) with ole Jim being the closest to knocking him out, lol. Anyway he is a worthless piece of waste that will do anything that he has too to try and win. The biggest cry baby that I have ever seen in pool times 10!!!! If anyone is around when he is in a match and he is losing you will hear him. Hooray for Sparky there is absolutely no doubt he deserved every single bit of what he got.
 
WOW...I guess Hennessee has gotten alot worse with his antics since I saw him play a few years ago. I know it takes alot to get Travis D. bent out of shape. I do remember Jim Jennings telling Hennessee if he says one more word while he is shooting...it will be his last.

I'm stating this publically for posterities sake....one of my goals before I die is to meet you in person, shake your hand and thank you for posting some of the funniest lines I've ever read. You're just so matter of fact about it!:D

I have to argue that point....have you ever heard of T. J. Davis out of Dallas?
Nice guy away from the table but what a D@@@ on the table!!! I am about to get some headphones (gun shooting muffs or something) LOL when I play him so I can't hear him yell and scream at me when I make a shot or two. The guy is out of control when somebody is running on him. NO FUN>>>>when you have somebody screaming at you how lucky you are. Also the constant name calling of you are a *****...lucky f""""" etc. etc...
It is really hard to concentrate when you are playing for money and somebody is doing this to you....great practice though.....if you can play decent when somebody is doing this to you...you should be able to handle anything. But it is really hard to play when somebody is barking at you like this.

You have options:
1) Grin and bear it
2) Report him to the powers that be
3) Pummel him about the head and shoulders


From what I recall he's not a specimen so I can't see how he's gotten by with his schtick this long:confused:
