Hercek - Prewitt - Tibbits - Ginacue........Were Any Cues Bought @ SBE???

I didn't attend the SBE and the only shows I could attend in the future would in all likelihood be on the west coast or Vegas being the farthest locale.

Those of you that made it to SBE, I hope you had a great time. If I had attended, I would have had my checkbook in hand and been on the prowl for one
more pool cue for my collection.........it would have to be a traditional design cue but under 19 ounces, and with a ivory joint & ferrules and definitely cues
having BEM & ebony points. Okay...having explained what my mission would have been at SBE, I am curious and interested in learning whether anyone
might have picked up a pool cue made by the 4 cue-makers in this thread's title........Joel Hercek, Ed Prewitt, Danny Tibbits or Ernie Guitterez.

Those are the main cue-makers I would have been browsing the booths to locate and I'd like to know if anyone purchased any cues at SBE made by any
of these 4 cue-makers? If you did, could you post photos of your cue(s) because I'd love to know what was available at SBE and whether perhaps anyone
found a cue that matched my taste in pool cue designs and cue-makers in particular.

Thanks for posting any pictures of your new cue find.........Joel Hercek.....Ed Prewitt.......Danny Tibbits........Ernie Guitterez.

Joel Hercek was actually at the show but did not have a booth. He was browsing dealer booths. I saw only a handful of Herceks with ivory joints for sale. Another handful were metal joints.

Saw maybe 3 Tibbits for sale, can't recall what the joints were but they were all ebony pointed cues.

Saw about 4-5 Prewitts. 2 of them with ivory joints and ebony points. Fairly fancy ringwork on both and super fancy inlays in the butt sleeve. I think 3 of the 4 Prewitts had ivory butt caps as well. One super fancy ivory handled one.

Saw several Ginas of varying levels from basic 4 pointers to a couple of ivory handle models.

Shadow

SouthWest was the flavor of the day from what I hear an Ivory Oval Cue made the scene and was scomphed up.
Cochran's? Maybe enough to let me get one back???
I guess not,

Nick :)

ironchef....thank you for the review.

shadowmoss........your math skills really suck....you wrote a couple of cues....Well, a couple is normally two....2....or 1 + 1
but it's never 5 + 2.....or 3 + 4 ......or 6 +1.....that's 7 cues you brought home.....a lot more than just a couple. I hope you
post pics, especially the Black Boar, Scruggs & Cochran cues.

Thanks guys......

I can only think of one word to say about your TS and MC cues Eric....BADASS!!

Friday was a great day, Steve let go of 2 of his MC's and the TS's pop out of nowhere. The blue 6 pointer was a TS blank I gave Cory to finish, But I promised someone I would sell it to them. Will see what happens.

Fantastic Cochran and Scruggs cues Eric. Also it was good seeing you at the show again.

There is something I just don't like about that Purple Cue

Can't put my finger on it. Doesn't look right at all.
Figured it out.
It isn't mine.
Nick :)

Talk about a rack of cues! Beautiful!
I would be hard pressed to figure out which one I like best....
Thanks for sharing.
