Alright...
..here goes my first post on AzBilliards. It's funny though, the way I came across AzB was by someone who single-handedly tries to destroy the rec.sport.billiard forum and have badmouthed AzB for quite some time. So naturally I thought if this fool hates the AzB forum so much, well then, it must be worth checking out. Hence, here I am.
Although I now live in California, I'm a Norwegian who partially grew up in Sweden -- and it was in Sweden where I learned to play pool. Actually, as a kid I was sort of a pool prodigy, but I blush to confess -- I have not improved since, not a single bit. I even play with the same old British made cues; 11mm, 450g, all-wood snooker cues, (the better one, I actually won playing).
A few years ago, my then girlfriend brought the cues back from my parents -- she wanted to see me play since she doubted their stories about me cleaning the pool-halls as a toddler. Well, she was right.
So now what I'd like to do is getting over this dreadful threshold and start improving my game. So if you have any ideas, feel free to contact me, or better yet; if you live in San Francisco Bay Area, why not give me some lessons.

Btw, here's a pic of me during a moto ride from last Saturday:
