Here it is!

Some think I've been donating from the beginning.

K*&T, here is my donation to you.

Do nothing about these allegations of SEXUAL HARASSMENT. There is no point wasting your time or money. They'll go away.

Your time will be well spent liquidating assets. DOUBLE your salary, AGAIN.

Throw minnie me a bone--he's having trouble throwing his own.

Last but not least....PAY the PLAYERS!!

JUSTNUM...<<Did the IPT act in a unprofessional manner, no its just a brand name.>>

That isn't correct. Corporations are legal entities that act through their executive officers. Actually, in most...but not all...cases, you cannot sue corporate officers PERSONALLY, unless you can show that their conduct was committed outside their roles as corporate officers.

Instead, you generally...MUST sue the CORPORATION for ITS actions.

So, the IPT as an entity HAS acted in an unprofessonal manner...AT BEST!

3) I would also like to know who else Deno has fondled inappropriately. Bernie, if he ever came on to you I would expect a new thread now that this has come to light.

Now that is the best post of the year. (No offense to Bernie, but I'm laughing to much to type this.):D

Awesome job Edyie! You are the Poolroom Detective Of The Year!
You must be a helluva player too, cause you've got a lotta heart.

This really confrims what many of us have suspected for a long time. A "fly by night" operation run by a scheister. You may have put the final nail in their coffin. The next time we hear from the IPT may be in a courtroom, where they all belong. And ONCE AGAIN, I say it's Criminal as well as Civil.

And way to nail that other little lowlife Dumbo. His "nose in the air" attitude was concealing his own insecurities and self doubts. Little Napolean belongs in jail alongside his stablemate TruDo.

I hope and pray they get what's coming to them for this SCAM they have foisted on the Pool community.

By the way Edyie, I have been in touch with Sports Illustrated and their Senior Editor for some time re the IPT and KT. Other journalists are on this one as well. It may be ready to explode in the media.

Where are all the "apologists" today?

Jim,

When corporate officers conceal illegal activities, they can be held liable. i.e. Worldcom and Enron (Lay, Skilling and Fastow). And the liabilities are not limited to civil penalties either. Jail time is certainly an option here.

Yes, we know who you were expecting the "JB" to be. :-) As outlined in JoeyA's query to the lurkers, many people have observed quite a lot in forums throughout the years.

This is truly a sad day. On top of everything else there has to be sexual harrassment, and I say that because I have not read all that has been posted yet to know whether it is assault or worse.

Well researched, well presented and well intentioned. Take a deep bow, Eydie, for you have outdone yourself.

As someone who has been in the PA/PR business for more than sometime, I have to say that Deno needs to go to his local community college and take a course or two. It's too late for now, but may come in handy in the near future.

To Eddie: you have my nomination for this year's Pulitzer Prize.

I left 2 messages on both of Deno's phone numbers yesterday, for him to call me back regarding this. He elected not to.

Upper management was replaced with non experienced personnel. One such person, rumored to have been picked up at a bar by Deno.
See Page #2

I happen to be that person you are speaking about and I would like to set the record straight for myself. I was not picked up at a bar. I met Deno at Chris's billiards (an alcohol free industry favorite) where I was playing. I was a week from moving to Chicago and seeking employment. After talking about what I did professionally, I asked if there were any openings at his company.

After a proper application submittal and interview process I was offered my position, and subsequently not released, because of my experience which includes 2 Bachelors Degrees in marketing communications, a licensing position within a record label, marketing position within a non-profit arts council and working for myself as an independent contract promoter.

I will not comment on company affairs, but I will not allow for incorrect rumored information about me personally to be go unnoticed either.

I happen to personally believe in the potential of the billiards industry to become a well publicized sport. There is obviously a great product here. There is a place for live TV broadcasts. Live online match coverage is obviously possible. There is the opportunity for players to gain additional exposure and sponsorships and press beyond the existing pool industry. There is a way to increase the profile of pocket billiards. I think that a lot of stat junkies (like baseball fans) could really get into this if they are exposed to it. I don't see any reason this all can't be accomplished. It's just a matter of finding a way to make it work.

Given the credibility hurdles your organization faces, I'd have to say you are brutally naive.

Eydie didn't mention anyone by name....

The fact of the matter is that sponsors are not going to sign on with the IPT while KT is there. If a respectable person were running this, then it could stand a chance of becoming something with the right marketing. Big name companies will not be caught aligning their company's good name with a person of KT's background and reputation. What he should've done was played "silent partner"... put the investment money out there but have respectable people running the show.... Unfortunately, his ego would not allow for this to happen. The idea definitely has/had potential but mis-management and ego's got in the way.

LMAO! I was trying to send an apology to SCOTTW, via PM.
Here is the system message:

"This forum requires that you wait 60 seconds between sending private messages. Please try again in 11752 seconds.  "

Well, here it is Scott:
Hi Scott,
I'm not one to get into flame wars or debates over intended meanings. I did read your post thoroughly to avoid any misinterpretation. It's never pure black & white, but this IPT mess is certainly not as gray as your post would indicate.
Nonetheless, if I'm mistaken about the context of your Post, than I humbly extend an apology to you.

TAP TAP TAP. Read this. Know this. Live this. This is as precise a distillation of the facts as you could possibly get. I've said exactly the same things, across multiple posts, over the course of several weeks; but here Timberly boils it down to the bare essentials. THIS is all you need to know about the IPT: past, present and FUTURE. You'd have to possess the critical thinking skills of a brick to substitute "hope" and "faith" for these brute facts.

This is absolutely sickening. But I have to wonder what did these women think he wanted in their hotel rooms?

Since the 80's managers have known that they CANNOT conduct themselves in ANY manner that might imply or be construed as sexual misconduct.

Sounds vague and amorphous but to be safe from charges of sexual harassment, etc. these are the rules we have to work by.Some of the things a manager can be taken to task for:

Complementing a subordinate/co-worker on how they dress

Their appearance

Perfume or aftershave

Giving someone a ride, ETC.

Just puting himself in a position that allegations can be brought forth speaks volumes about his professional acumen----he has a LOT to learn about many things. The moral aspects will be judged in higher forums.

Eydie,
You put together a very professional piece of work. Very well organized factual and unbiased even to the point of going out of your way to make sure the story is balanced. Great job, honest and straight to the point.
Thanks for all your effort.
A good rep from me to you.

The incident with Jackie, the way I understood it to have happend was not in HER hotel room. The night that this took place was the night that they had the chat session on here. Deno and quite a few players were in the room answering questions. At one point someone asked a player a question and Deno made the remark that all the other players had left and that he & Jackie were the only ones left.

I know a few more details to the story but I don't know how much they want told so I'll leave it at that. Just know that A) Jackie didn't just have some guy in her hotel room, and B) even if she did... this is the "professional" tournament director and she shouldn't have had any need to be worried.

Your comment reeks of blaming her and anyone else that decides to come forward, which is utter BS and why more women don't come forward in these situations. Regardless of where they are at, no one should be subjected to this.
