Kevin,

Looks like you had a great time, now I know why I couldn't get a hold of you when I returned to L.A.

The Spain / Schick cue is stunning, Wow, great pictures.

Sure would like to see the I.C.C.S. come to Chicago.

Will talk to you soon.

Joe

I would like to see it come to Atlanta since the Southern Cue and Case show stopped or maybe Nashville. Nashville would make to easy to decide on a cue theme. Music city. Not sure what an Atlanta theme could be. I drove all the way to St Louis last year and it was a great show. Vegas was just too far for me.
I am still hoping to see pictures of Gilbert's gambler cue.

I mentioned in another thread that absolutely no decisions have been made about next Year's ICCS venue.....not even a list of Possible sites. At the Collector meeting I asked for an email from each attendee
within 30-45 days on a variety of topics, including their thoughts for location next year.

No decision will be made until early next year. We do move the show around each year, so it is a sure bet not to be in Las Vegas next year. Everything else is pure rumor.

I will post on AZ when the Announcements are made.

Will Prout
Now come on Will.....if rumors are to be ..then houston is my choice:wink:

I was at Rick Goulden's awesome display and in the back I could see a case marked "Spain Cues". I asked him what was in there and just went WOW when he opened.

Its all such great stuff, historical and modern both.

Kevin, thanks for taking the time to post the pics. As I've seen most of the cues you posted of Rick's, it's nice to see them displayed where people can enjoy them instead of sitting in cases and cases and cases.

When I went to his house to look at a few cues and saw Bushka's and Gus' rolling around on his table at home with some papers and boxes and other stuff, it made me want to bubble wrap them! But he insisted that is what the cues are for, playing with.

What gets it for me is the passion and stories Rick has behind all of the cues.

I think the story means more to Rick than the cue. If you know Rick, he is a mild mannered person. But when he gets excited about something, its neat to see the look in his eye.

That AE cue, Two THOUSAND+ inlays!!! And if my memory serves me correctly, I think AE goofed on the first one and Rick has part of the forearm from it!

The story about Spector Bushka cue is really cool.

If you get a chance, ask him about the story of his Ivory handled Gina, Ernie G., and a guy wearing a REALLY nice watch! Epic story....

I had a great time meeting and talking with Rick, and of course looking at the fabulous array of cues he brought to Vegas.

I love those stories.

Thanks

Kevin

The St. Louis show last year was a great experience. Hopefully the next one is in the midwest or at least a closer drive to Tennessee.
