I've been buying and selling antique billiard collectibles for almost 20 years. In that time I've never owned a cue as cool as this!
This cue was made for the Brunswick Balke Collender billiard exhibit at the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago.
There are many interesting things about this cue. Most of all, it's the only cue I've ever seen with 4 mother of pearl wedges.
This cue was owned by Earl Lookabaugh (Google his name). Along with this cue, I have the Rambow that Lookabaugh played with, his award medals, scrapbook, and more.
Earl Lookabaugh was the first player EVER to defeat Willie Hoppe in a World 3-Cushion Billiard Tournament match to 50 points.
Thanks for looking.

Rob I have been waiting to see this thread posted on the forum, since the first day you were kind enough to send me some photo's of this cue and other ltems.
I have also been doing some research and talking with people I know who love the Artistry and History of items like this as much as I do. It seems that there certainly is a good chance that this may well be the fanciest cue Herman Rambow ever built.
Whether it is or isn't I would like to see this thread turn into a hunt for Hermans fanciest cue. Without any doubt we as forum members are blessed to have a place like AZ Billiards where so many knowledgeable people frequent and contribute information to these threads.
Rob you certainly found a winner this time, thanks for sharing this with all of us.
