THANKS FOR PUTTING ME ON THE SPOT..............THIS IS A TOUGH CHOICE FOR ME. I HAVE SEVERAL CUES THAT I AM VERY VERY FOND OF, AND SOME THAT I HAVE NO REAL ATTACHMENT TO. IF I HAD TO PICK ONE, IT WOULD BE THIS ONE.....................
IT TOOK A FEW DAYS FOR THE WRAP TO GROW ON ME, BUT NOW THAT IT HAS, I CONSIDER THIS ONE TO BE THE CENTER PIECE OF MY COLLECTION.
ALTHOUGH THIS ONE IS MY SENTIMENTAL FAVORITE,AND IT'S THE TASCARELLA THAT I HAVE HAD THE LONGEST. VERY OLD CUE, WITH ACTUAL HAND WRITTEN TASCARELLA SIGNATURE..........

I have say I have never seen the tape over the tips before. Does it hold chalk well? Ingenious to keep them clean and still hit a couple.

Marcus did once mention that with a special cue set up he could draw the cue three times the length of the table.BarenbruggeCues said:

I just didn't want to get chalk on the unchalked cue..
I should have just put it in a new case..
I still think I could draw it full table with it on there..

Quite understandable..........I've experienced the same deal with a brand new one before. Now cleaned the inside of my cases out as good I could possibly get them and with a paper towel wipe all chalk off any cue tips before going in the cases. Also have used a piece of kitchen *plastic wrap* over the tips also for the same purpose you intened your tape for. No sticky crap to deal with like off the tape.

I would have to agree on your choice with this tascarella. It is simply amazing!! The wrap IMHO ties everything together. I have been thinking about making a trip up to your poolroom. Would like to try a new room and meet new people, what are your hours and the address please.
