I'm 13 and I play alright. My dad taught me how to play he is good. You might have played him before I'll ask him. Are there any kind of drills you would do or would you just rack em up and play with your friends?

I never used to practice with my friends. I'd always practice by myself which allowed me to work on my strokes and techniques. It's hard for me to get anything out of it when I'm playing friends.
When starting out, the most important thing is to make sure you're stances are correct, with your "feels" and stroke. If you practice good habits from the start, it will take your game to the next level.

I had a poolroom at Hollywood Park for a few years, but I lost my lease and had to close up in December. It was a good spot with some decent action.
Now I mostly play poker and veg.
