kevin people on this forum, i was thinking about this and it burns my ass to no end, why the **** did kevin screw up so early on????????????????? in other words, remember his little speech with "if there is a bridge we come across and there is a problem, don't worry, we will cross that bridge" well, why in gods name did the screw up happen so fast???? i could if everything went smoothly from 2006 to 2013, and THEN,there was a problem, we could all say , kevin you tried, it was a great 7 year run, you created history, we love you, and from the bottom of our hearts thank you, for this glorious unprecedented billiard ride,thank you. but NO as bulushi used to say, this *****, screwed everything up right in the begining!! what kind of bullshit was that?!!! we had the north american open, where we all got paid, correct, and then the very next tournament, the world open in reno, there was a mess up, no money, kevin gets the award for promising so much and messing it all up so fast, congradulations kevin you are the asshole of the month.

Funny that you could never make $5 playing pool and the IPT has invited you to earn thousands and this is how you show your appreciation. Please refrain from the "I haven't been paid" response. A player like you should be grateful for the opportunity. You weren't relying on your pool skills for income prior to the IPT and you've probably grossed more money from the IPT than you have in your entire pool career, so why on earth would you be in some kind of a bind now?

All I'm saying is that Bernie needs to wank off. Calling Trudeau "asshole of the month" is out of line. Regardless of payment, how is it justified treating someone who has poured millions of dollars into a bottomless industry with such animosity and disregard for effort? In my opinion, Bernie is more qualified for that award.

They start out with one episode hoping for a multi year run. If the ratings are okay for that first show then they go for maybe a half dozen more. If the ratings suck the show is killed.
It's all about ratings. Right now I would say the ratings for the IPT really did not warrant going past the KOTH. KT should have ended the IPT right there. But he didn't, he held the Vegas tournament. It would be interesting to see how much out of pocket expenses that cost him.
Ratings, attendance at Vegas were lower than low. Did any of the players notice how little attraction for their show there was? Of course not, they were just having a ball. They never even gave a thought to help promote the event. That was all KT's job.
I wonder if they even said thank you when they were paid.
Anyway, I hope after this is all over KT will publish an accounting of just how much money running this tour cost him. It might really surprise some people. It probably is a lot more than many people earn in a lifetime.

You are correct that the IPT made an effort to breath major life into the pro pool industry and I don't recall a single complaint SOLELY about the fact that lots of players won lots of money due to the IPT's efforts.
But it is in no way unfair or inappropriate to post negative opinions about KT's TOTAL body of behavior. The undisputed FACTS are that A) the Reno players have not been paid and B) that KT and his operatives have lied REPEATEDLY about the circumstances surrounding the non-payment issue.
I don't necessarily agree with the exact language used to express criticism over that behavior...to each his/her own. But the facts are the facts and I am personally disgusted by anyone who lies through their teeth about ANYTHING let alone millions of dollars.
