Forgive me Don...my pm box is a nightmare I'm trying to answer & work through the mess. Your cue is fine. I had to take one more pass to bring the joint od down slightly to match the shaft you sent me...I cut my standard joints just a tad fatter. No worries, it'll work fine. Should stay as planned & be able to ship this week. Be glad to get rid of it...I'm tired of everybody in the shop snatching it up & trying to buy it!:D Did you find any decent action on your recent out of town trip?

Thanks for the info...

Thanks for the reply, we have a tournament here in KC this week at Shooter's, one pocket starting on Thursday and 9-ball I think starting Friday night or Saturday afternoon. I will try and get the info posted in the tournament section, I am sure Evelyn has probably already posted something.

On my business trip to Chicago I played Luke (1pocketghost here on AZ) at Chris's Billiards in Chicago last night, I did not play very well and ended up severn games loser playing fairly cheap, but it was fun action, I took an old jump break cue and used an old Gilbert shaft that I had. I wish I could use that as an excuse but the cue played fine I just really struggled making the change from the Diamond that I have been playing on recently to the gold crown, could never really get zeroed in on what should have been easy cross banks, was nailing the long rail straight backs but played like a F speed on the others:mad:  It was nice to meet Luke and playe a little while on the road working:D :D

Looking forward to the new cue, wish I had it for this weekends action.;)
