Lol...believe it or not...it was a 'zen' post...:eek:

My dog, and my cat, (before the eagle got it) hang out in my 'pool room'. They both used to follow me from the house to the shop, up the stairs, and hang out while I play. The dog tried to snag my CB once off the table because he thought it was his 'Glowball'...lol. And the cat used to jump up in the middle of a game all the time...lol.

I live less than a mile from the Skagit River, here in WA State. It is one of THE largest bald eagle habitats in the world. I actually have a nest in a tree at the bottom of my field. If the cats go down into the field looking for mice, they usually do not last long...eagles, hawks, falcons, coyote and cougars all freely roam the area. I have one cat that has lived here for over 10 years...but she does not go down into the field anymore, and she has her battle scars...the tops of both ears are missing.

I love cats, but I try not to get too attached to them anymore...as soon as I do, they disappear. Dogs are a bit more durable in these parts.

I've heard of "catacorner" but that is ridiculous!

Anyway you're doing that all wrong. Puppies are much easier to train to retrieve balls from pockets than kittens, who as you can see are far too likely to fall asleep on the job ;-)
 
I think if you didnt know he was there that kittie would have a rude awakening, bink on the dome!,lol,cue pic though.

We live in the woods with coyote being the main predator. Over the years, we have learned that black cats survive the best.
