Hi Everyone!

JennBarretta

Pro Player
I just want to say hello to everyone on the forums! I am really looking forward to having the opportunity to communicate with fellow pool players and fans. I am also excited to have my own forum among such fine players and wonderful ambassadors for the game. I only hope I can deliver the great insight into the world of pool that Keith, Sarah and Melissa have. And Gremlin, thanks for the photos!

Jennifer

Welcome to the forum Jenn! Post plenty of info here and you'll get plenty of responses.

Thanks,
Zim

Greetings JennBarretta,

I saw you on One Life to Live a while back. That is the first time I had watched a soap opera in as long as I can remember. :D

Are you considering pursuing acting further? And did you have to teach that girl how to make a bridge?

jennifer,

congrats on the new forum, as well as all the recent publicity. i'm looking forward to seeing you on an espn match soon.

Hi Wally,

I don't plan on pursuing acting because it is something that requires a lot of work, and I don't want to compromise my practice schedule. I did have to teach "Natalie" how to bridge, stand & shoot for the scenes, but she had never even held a cue before.

Welcome Jennifer. :D

My wife and I miss seeing you play at the CAT tournaments.

Rich R.

While I do miss the people I met on the CAT tour I don't miss an extra weekend away from home! CAT will always be a special tour for me because that is the tour that I won my first qualifier, and the tour that allowed me the opportunity to get my pro status.

well now, thats certainly depressing news. hows about me and him play a race to 9, winner take all? i'll be in Peoria, i'm sure we can talk Mr. Tipton into allowing us to play late friday night after the matches.

and if i lose, that would certainly justify throwing even my Nova Custom Cue!

DCP

welcome

Jennifer,

Haven't talked to you in a while. Congratulations on all your success. I wish you the very best of luck for the rest of and the upcoming seasons. Keep in touch.

Hi SCFL,
I'm assuming the FL means you live in Florida. The WPBA is having an event at the brand new Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Sept. 8-12 in Hollywood, FL. I don't know how far you are from there, but if you come to watch you can get all of your WPBA favorites to sign. All of the women are very friendly and approachable.

Jenn,

It's great to see someone from my area who is a pro on the boards. Congrats on becoming pro and the best of luck to you. a pool hall (brentwood Billiards Wayne, NJ) i am playing at on sundays is run by Karl Sloezen who is also a pro. He is trying to get a tour stop at his place and also trying to bring some more business in there as well. He is setting up an exibition with Busta and he is trying to get Santos to come over and play some when he is back in the area. So hopefully that will help.

Best of luck to you and keep us informed on when there is a tour stop in the area and I'll bring some people who love to watch pool.

Are you from the Bronks - I think i heard that? My son-in-law is from the Bronks but now lives in LA. If I visit his family in the Bronks, are there any good poolrooms there - or should I go to the Amsterdam across the river?

You have improved in many ways since I first saw you shoot at Viejas 3 or 4 years ago as a new face on the WPBA tour. Good fortune.

Hi LAMas,

I am not from the Bronx, and I am not aware of which pool halls are there. If you go to Amsterdam the one on the east side of 86th street is closing at the end of May so make sure you go to the one on Amsterdam and 76th street.

Good to have another pro player around and a beautiful one at that. I look forward to seeing everything you have to offer to these forums. Good luck on your way to the top. :)

Greetings, Jennifer.

We met briefly at Amsterdam Billiards West a few months back. At the time, I had only the vaguest recognition of you as a member of the pro tour so I find it rather amusing that since then your name and face have been popping up in all manner of billiards-related and non-related media. Congratulations on your escalating publicity. I suppose we will not be running into each other again at Amsterdam West, but now, there is this nifty forum! Good luck to you on your pool-related endeavours.

Donald
