Stevie Moore is 2-0 and had 5 BRs in his first and 3 in his 2nd plus one 8 on the break...

I wonder, with them breaking from the box, is anyone still trying to do the 2nd ball break (often called the side break in 8 ball)???

Pretty sure it is illegal in the IPT.
 
Reyes just had 6 BRNs in his final match against Heuwagen, whitewashing him 8-0.
 
In previous event Finland's Markus Juva ran 7 racks against Bernd Jahnke. He hooked himself on the penultimate ball on rack 8... :confused: :D
 
Yes its true they are playing on the exact same cloth as Vegas.

Diamond shipped the tables from Vegas to Reno and stored them for 6 weeks.

That gorina plays slower the more you play on it....

Just because it says they have X break and runs doesn't mean it is an X- pack. For example 5 break and runs during a much doesn't have to mean a 5-pack.

The winner break in this event is just brutal.
Last week while in Houston, on the IPT cloth I witnessed JJ run 7 racks, only to follow with 8, and then run 9. He was playing flawlessly and only to be knocked out in the 1st round.
 
A quick read of this thread tells me why I'll never be on the IPT, I rarely use the word "pack" when I play, I don't even use the words "break and run" all that often either:D

Orcollo had six break and runs in defeating Soquet 8-4.
Harriman had six b+r's in degeating Dominquez 8-2.
Lely had six in losing 7-8 to Alcaide who had 5.
Lining had six in an 8-4 win over Hann.
Charlie William had six in an 8-5 win over Steve Moore.
Oliver Ortmann had six in an 8-3 win over Parica

And Charlie Byrant had 5 break and runs including 2 eight balls on the snap in a white wash of Jungo 8-0.He is also an impressive 3-0 in his group.
I wonder if he is using his new X breaker minus the hard tip?
