Higher end custom cues from Asia?

So there are obviously some very nice cases coming out of Asia. Are there any cue builders, building some nice high end, good hitting, custom cues? Are there any out there? I know they go nuts for southwest cues over there. I assume this is because no one is providing equivalent quality stuff???


Just curious, I am in no way bashing any one, or anything.

I can picture a guy in Asia saying exactly that about the United States. Just a thought..... :wink:

I can't speak first hand to the quality of any of them, so if anyone has 1st hand know about any of them I'd welcome infornation, reviews, pictures, market values, etc,,,,,in the form of direct posts in the directory or even simple messages to me that I can update the listings with to make them more helpful to others in the future.

In China, Zen Cues, and one other that are producing amazing work. In Taiwan Rays Chin, In Japan, Keith Andy and Mezz are producing some very high end stuff. Maz Miki displays his very high end work at the ICCS as an invited cue maker every year.

I may be wrong but Al Bautista seems to be producing some pretty intricate and solid cues... I ordered one myself to experience the artistry and how they play first hand.

Not so long ago, he had a sick purple heart cue for sale... very very interesting design!

High End in Asia there's Keith Andy, Miki Mezz and Musashi out of Japan.
I know there's 39 Workshop in Japan.
But in China i'd definitely say ZEN Cue. They are a force to be reckon with...check out my earlier threads...ZEN Cues are amazing. Plays beautiful with outstanding workmanship!! Infact i hear they'll be attending SBE..
 
It's good to hear they are producing some good stuff. I just had the thought after receiving my case from Volturi Cases. My case is so amazing, I couldn't help but wonder there must be some one over there building an equivalent cue! It sounds like Zen is pretty awesome. The work looks solid. Not exactly my taste, but very intricate!

Seeing my case, and these cues, and some of the other stuff that comes out of the far east, I know get a good chuckle about the Chinese, Taiwanese, etc. JUNK... LOL. Seems to me like you can buy quality and/or junk from just about any where in the world.
