Highest string of 10 ball racks?

Alex Pagulayan ran a nice 5 pack at the 2005 DCC ring game (which he won).

My personal best is 4 racks of 9 ball, 2 racks of 10 ball.

Wow, those are huge numbers....9 racks in 10 and 20+ racks in 9!!!!!!

I have a 4-pack in 9 and only a 1-pack (is that a pack :D ) in 10.....I have much to learn....must spend more time on AZ :D

Exactly....somebody is catching on. Packs start at 6.

Longest KNOWN 10-ball run is 9 racks, by the disgusting genetic missing-link who called himself "Detroit Whitey" (real name Ed Beauchene). This was in a multi-handed ring game at the legendary Johnston City venue, $50 a man, witnessed by many. The Male Thing then miscued while breaking rack 10 and quit immediately. He was one plump example of just about everything that's wrong with pool. GF
George, Long time; hope all is well? Quite a story you have here.

So to clear it up because I cant get how these guys can run such big amounts of racks consecutively, A 27 pack would mean 27 consecutive break and runswithout any interruption, safety play, alternate breaks or anything like that? and there have been 23 packs at least?

Darren Appleton claimed this past week on TAR that he had ran 34 or 36 racks of english eightball in a row so Soquet ain't even close at 27.--Leonard

correct

There have been 23 or more consecutive, uninterrupted break and runs by a handful of people. Not at the same time and place of course and not any more amazing then the high runs in straight pool when you think about it. (edit for clarity: these are nine ball runs)
