Wow. Thanks for that. It was almost more than I could ask for! I'm really interested in getting on in the future. Something draws me to them and I'm not sure what. Maybe it's the looks, plus the custom close and detailed hand done craftsmanship. Maybe it's also what you just said. One day, I'll have enough money... one day. :grin:
I bought this cue because it was on sale. So, I didn't give any specs or custom details for the cue. It was already built.
And I have to say, it's damn near perfect for me.
When considering purchasing a custom cue...and it sounds like you've got some time to save up some cashola....use the mean time to think about the things that are most important to you for your dream cue.
There are lot of things to consider, but it's mostly dependant on your preference.
If you are taller than normal, you may want a longer cue.
If you tend to opt for jump shots as opposed to masse shots when dealing with hooked situations, then you would want a lighter cue with a hard tip (jump).
Some people like wrapless cues (like me), and some do not.
Some people like forward weighted or back-end weighted cues.
Seriously, you could spend a lot of time deciding what you want in a cue.
