hightower lathe speed

On the hightower delux with the step pulley, anyone know the 4 speeds?

get one of these......... stick a dowel in the chuck and stick on one of the reflector stickers that come with it ............... push the button and read the rpm.............

425,750,1180,1600 rpms.

This is how I set things to happen on my deluxe:

425 - tapering with router, ring cutting with dremel and saw, coring dense woods
750 - coring medium and soft density woods
1180 - cutting with carbide tooling, sanding
1600 - seldom used by me, sanding

It depends on the size of the motor pulley.
But I would have said within about 50 RPMs of what Alan posted.
