Hohmann in Danger

Cheesemouse, I'm not giving out names - you should know that. I'm not a rat, just letting yall know that this isn't 100% pure tournament. (nothing really is) That's the purpose of my post.
You'll just have to take my word for it. One deal I actually HEARD the players talking about it in the lobby. Talk about reckless and stupid. A few of the players who were in the tournament were making fun of them for being so obvious about it. It was kind of funny. Others I saw. The rest were brought to my attention by players that I personally know who are "in the know".
Some of them were dumb no offense. When you see two players who are opponents on their final match of the night, that aren't buddies or know eachother outside of the IPT, go walk off together down the hallway of the Venetian chatting...then the results of the match work out for the guy in need -- hmmm. Players about to battle it out for their tournament suvival don't go fraternizing 5 minutes before - then play a match with ZERO pressure on their faces...
Rocket science is not required here. Don't mistake this as widespread or anything like that - but it DID happen 100%.

What might people think on Hohmann?
When Efren loses on the first round on the last WPC, a lot
of people think he's wash out already. Of course Hohmann is
much younger than Efren does.

Yeah, I don't know. Bad luck? But the IPT format (round robin, tough conditions) is designed to take a lot of the luck out of the equation, right?CebuanoNiNoy said:

Winning $350,000 might have altered his routine a little bit in the time between tournaments, or it messed with his outlook on pool just a touch. Maybe took a little bit of the fire out. Either that, or the NAO was a miracle run?
Maybe it was just bad luck. Some bad play mixed in with superb play by opponents? Being the champ - you can bet everyone was gunning for him.
