I am looking for pictures/ideas on how to mount my new diamond light in my living room which has 22ft ceilings.

Home table / light install HELP!

I did this...
longer chains and wire. Not 22 feet high, granted, but what else can you do? I thought about spotlights, but didn't find anyone that did that successfully. The fans do make the lights sway slightly on medium speed, and too much when on high. The wire runs in the chain to an entry light on the ceiling that is on a wall switch.

Diamond lights have 48" apart mounting holes on the narrow lights.
You need to finds the joist's in the cieling some have a metal cross braces 90 deg to the wooden joist to help hang sheetrock truer or flater.
You can
1. Use a genie lift hand cranker to raise up to the ceiling
2. Heavy tarp stack some wood and use a thick sheet of plywood on top to put a ladder on toip of the table to distibute the load across a large area.
3. scaffolding you can rent same with the ladder.
4. Wireing and t bar ceiling guy's have a wire pole shooter toi screw in the wire hanger's into the ceiling they extend about 18' foot high. I have 2 of them here in Sacramento Ca.
6. Osha loves this one if the table hasn't been installed drive a truck or van in put ladder on top problem solved but dangerous.
I used to install Garage doors and had this same problem with no table in the way 16' A frame ladder tippy toes, long extension and a spotter on the ladder I got them done.
Scaffolding is going to be your best bet on saftey and ease of adjustment during install if you want to do it right. Put a laser light level on the table and it will shoot a beam up to the ceiling and make everything easier.

Carlos, have you checked to make sure the lights on both sides work? I had one side that was out due to a bad connector. My ceiling is only 9ft high, but I had some electricians come out and hang my light. Now Glenn will have plenty of light to work under when he comes out here. 
Relay
Actually the lights from Classics had relays installed so they could use light dimmers. Not installed by Diamond. It is possible there were other issues, but the symptoms you described is probably just a matter of removing the relay.

No matter what the problem might be... I am sure Glen will take care of it.
I will put up before/during/after pictures ASAP.
