I finished this last week the customer wanted a Hoppe ring and a leather wrap. The wrap was difficult with the material I have right now so we went with Nylon. I will get better leather and post pics once I figure out what works.

Thanks guys I looked for some with a tighter curly grain so it was more proportional to the size of the cue. I have a pic that I will post of this when it is still on the lathe when I get back to my PC

Cuebuddy's not much into texing :)

I am guessing that you have a mini lathe. :)

Yes I just got it before christmas. I was making these on a full size lathe with a 30 pound chuck:embarrassed2:. Things are a lot easier now;).

Here is the pic of this on the lathe

Got any joint protectors?

I have made them but only on request, A matched set of mini snooker cues complete with Ash shafts and Brass ferrules went to England and they had joint protectors:cool:.

is it low deflection?

What the 1.1250" pro taper isn't enough for you:p.

I am getting faster at these and that helps me sell them for less $$$ but I still spend about five hours on the ones with points.
