I really do like hoppe style cues
i love the look of them

When Tim and Bob made me an ivory jointed Hoppe style cue in 1979 they referred to this style as Rambow!
 
That's what Tim & Mike told me. If they have 5/8 - 1in black butt cap under the ring they are Rambo style. If the black butt cap is around 3/8in or less it's Hoppe style. But most people call anything with a ring above butt cap Hoppe. p.s. I will be running for political office "Mayor of Poolsville" lol, Bob
