Hotels with pool tables

I was not aware of Aloft being pool table friendly but they are a Marriott brand. My previous experience at the Renaissance LAX was also a Marriott brand. I hope they continue to include pool tables at their properties. I fear that they will continue to disappear over time.

I was going to post about the Marriott Waikiki, but I checked the website before posting and it looks like they got rid of them. I’m not shocked. I would guess it is dependent on the particular property. Sounds like it might be brand based now too.

The Ramada Plaza by Wyndham in Portland, Maine has an attached bar that has 5 or 6 coin-op bar boxes that are in decent shape. Be forewarned, the bar is a pretty weird Halloween themed place that also has live music many nights.

I have stayed in several Tru (by Hilton) hotels in MS and they all have 8' Brunswick in the lobby. The condition of the table is inconsistent, always with cheap slow cloth and cheap balls.

I stayed at Ocean Casino in AC eariler this year and they had two pool tables. The downside to it they were in the area with the swimming pool.

I've visited over 30 countrys and in many places I saw a snooker table. When I first went to England it was almost all snooker and english 8-Ball. Hard to find a pool table (circa 1980's).

I played snooker in Nepal! Kathmandu.
"I better get outta here!!"
" I'm going to Katmandu!! " 😉🎶🎵
