Has anyone come across any hotels with pool tables in their travels? I like having a place to play pool where I'll be laying my head that night. I've only came across 2 of them. They are advertised on their websites in the pictures. Would it be worth creating a list if there are enough of them around?
First one is in Bismarck, ND
Just a regular old Valley bar table I believe. It's been about 5-6 years since I stayed there but got the picture from their website. The recent reviews, however, mention that the bar/restaurant and pool were not open recently. Bonus of full bar and blackjack tables. The company I worked for at the time had an office in Bismarck. I always asked to get booked here when I was in town working. I don't remember their cues being horrible. Edited to add - this table I think took paper dollars or quarters best I recall.
Second one is in Brush, CO at the local Motel 6. This place has what I think is the only bar/grill in town and two Predator bar tables. It is actually attached to the Motel but you have to walk outside the Motel to walk into the bar/grill as they keep the direct access door blocked. Lots of league play in here so access to the tables can be spotty in the evenings. I was told they have tournaments on the weekends. Bar/grill is called The Far Corner. Full bar with limited food menu and sometimes the kitchen is closed. Bar cues are okay. Edited to add - these are largely free use tables although I think they sometimes charge by the hour.
