House cue ferrule

I'd like suggestions for house cue ferrule material if the room owner doesn't want to pay for an Ivorine or Aegis-quality ferrule.
Would you go with PVC, the Atlas Titan, or something else?

If the room owner was willing to pay, I'd screw on a quality ferrule, but it seems more often than not they just want a cheap fix. :embarrassed2:

i had same situation
tried talking them into lbm ferrules
it was futile
so, i put on the titans
although there is nothing wrong with the titans, i felt the lbms would hold up more to the abuse those house cues took
as far as i know, the titans withstood whatever the hethens could dish out, LOL :smilewinkgrin:

Joe Porper ferrule.
Cuts easy, plays good, dont cost a bunch.
 
Joe Porper ferrule is the nuts.
I have been installing them on house cues for years and not one has cracked yet.
Not saying that they cant be broken.
But they have a good track record so far.
I started to use them when the fiber ferrules supply dried up.
Glue the tip on with gorilla glue and the only time you will need to change a tip is whem they are worn out.
Contact Rat Cues he may send you some to try.
You wont be sorry you did.
