I'm in Houston tonight and tomorrow night. If anyone is in town and wants a sparring partner, let me know. I'm not looking to gamble - I'm here on business and don't want to "get involved." Not to mention, I haven't been playing much because of work.

If someone wants a rack boy and knows of a decent (and safe) place to play, reply! :) I went to a Slick Willies last night and a corner pocket broke apart after I fired in a ball. VERY fun place, though. I kind of liked it.

Hoping to meet a few AZ brothers - let me know.

There are a dozen or more Slick Willies in Houston - so it depends where you are going to be and how far you are willing to travel.

Some have $5.00 for all the pool you can shoot on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
 
hey dave ..there's no better pool place in the entire houston than fast eedie's at FM1960 on the northside.. .. if you are interested ..lemme know.. we might even mix up pool with business...

Yes, on the north side Bogies is nice, though I've never been to Fast Eddie's.

I'm no gambler, but I love to play the game as well as I can...

However, it seems there are at least a few Houston AZers here. Why haven't I seen a thread getting us all together. I know I'm new and all, but I think it'd be a blast to be able to put a face on a few of the names here.

What say you all?

I just had a blast with Arian Dacongan (Joel). Might be the classiest guy I ever met from AZB... and a super player as well. Thanks for the local hospitality! Houston is the spot!
