How About An AZB "Undercard" Match For A TAR Match?

We could get two well known AZBers to match up before (perhaps) SVB vs DeChaine. Maybe a 9 ball race to 9. Or, a short one pocket race.

I posted this in JCIN's TAR table poll thread, but it may be lost or derail the thread, so I started this one.

Think of all the chatter we'd have here before and after. Think of all the side action. And think of all the additional exposure the TAR brand would get.

Does this appeal to people? Do you think more people would buy the PPV because of it? Or maybe it could be free before the PPV as a nice free teaser to entice new buyers?

Thoughts?

KK9 <-- Thinkin' JB Cases vs Chris Banks? :grin-square:

I've heard that Chris Banks would accept that offer.

Who is going to pay to fly out to vegas for a race to 9?

There's a few AZBers in Vegas. Or, at a future TAR match, that sometimes is held when there's tourneys in Vegas that attract amateurs, then the AZB "pool" of choices would be larger. The proximity factor presents some limitations, but can be hurdled.

Back on track. I only hold a few grudges on here, but I do think it would be fun to play someone as an undercard match. How about John Barton? I think he would be fun to play, probably plays within a ball of my speed (better or worse) just based on reading his posts. I'd be open to play almost anyone, but he is the first one that comes to mind.

I would love to see two of our aim guy/instructors play... Winner stays, loser suffers a one year ban from az... :grin-square:

Seriously though, I'd like to see CJ, Stan, Lee, Geno, etc... Settle on a game that would generate action on both sides...

I think it's a great idea & I'd definitely watch. :)

I like the under-card idea.....one-pocket, race to three.
David Peat vs Joe Rogan....Joe gives 8-6
