How about this action challenge

I didnt say anything about him needing anything. You said he would play them even, your words. I just said that anybody that thinks Larry Nevel can beat Cliff at one pocket or Shane at ten ball playing even can probably double their net worth off me.

LOL... well said sir........

Cliff is as tough playing 1 hole as SVB is playing 10 ball.....
Or close anyway.................

i think larry can beat cliff playing 1 hole playing even...but shane is going to kill him playing even 10-ball

Larry has asked Shane to play in the past and Shane has turned him down...more than once. So how is it that you guys say Larry needs weight but Shane isn't playing him even?

Maybe Shane, like many others, don't like to play Larry cos he acts like a real D******d during he plays. Sharks, etc...

Did you ever think of that?

playing rotation, 10 ball would be to easy.

With 4.5 inch pockets, Shane would beat 10-ball Ghost with BIH with about the same score as he would lose to 15-ball Ghost. I'd say about 100-20 to 100-37.

I'm curious as to how bad people on here think Larry Nevel plays. Saying he needs weight from Shane really is a joke.

How does Larry play one-pocket against Cliff?

You've got action against either of these games even. Obviously, you are a Nevel fan. No fault there, he is a solid player. I will make no comment on his character or gamesmanship on any forum, but to think he can win these.... OK??? Corvette spoke up first, but I'd like some of his action if this went off. Or since Larry's backers want to bet so high ($20K minimum against Bobby Pickle) they can cover both our action.

Not trying to knock a very solid player, but few people in this world will beat Shane 10 ball long races right now and we all know the only player that has to like playing Cliff in a straight up game.

Shane actually said something to the effect of respecting Larry's game too much to play him, but I'm not sure what he meant by it.

I've seen Larry play numerous times, and I've seen him get upset while playing, but I haven't seen him do anything that could be considered sharking when he gets upset. Usually he just slams the butt of his cue to the ground while walking away from the table and then he sits down. But that's just what I've seen.

First off, $10k gets Bobby a game with Larry. Possibly even $5k, but I'd have to check. And there are reasons for that that I don't think everyone here needs to know. But Larry's backers aren't scared to bet by any means.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I have nothing but respect for Shane's game. He's playing great right now, but I still believe there are people out there that he doesn't have to like playing. Larry, Archer, Bustemante, Reyes and Orcollo are the ones that come to mind.

And as for there only being one player that would like playing Cliff even in one-pocket, I think there are actually a couple there too that Cliff might not like to play. Larry, Scott Frost, Reyes and maybe even Corey would all be good games. Cliff is a great player, but he's not the only person out there that can play one-pocket.

that would be a good game but I like larry in this one. Pickles fan club has been tryin to woof up a game lately so maybe larry can get played

I've spoken to Bobby himself and the most he's willing to bet is $1k a set and lock up two sets. And that's with the call 8. There has been talk that he might bet more with the wild 8, but that doesn't seem to be a guarantee either. Like I said, there are reasons Larry isn't taking the game without betting more, but those don't need to be out in the open.

I cant say that I blame him. TN is a long way from WI, if thats were larry is from.

Can you give examples? I never heard this about him. Always seemed ok.

Yeah, Larry gets a little upset sometimes but people blow it way out of proportion. I've been around Larry quite a bit and the worst I've seen him do is slam the butt of his cue on the ground a few times. Not everyone is perfect.
