I was curious about the various stages of making a Fellini-style case. Except for the latch, Sam's are the closest to a Fellini because he applies leather top and bottom.

He likes working with exotic skins and has had the PVC tubing custom extruded to his specs. He sent me some pics and I asked him a bunch of questions. Here's how an Engles case is made:

Thanks for posting Chris, very informative. Was wondering...there is probably another side to the story, did you ever hear Sam's side of the accusations made of him by Indy-Q Roy? Just was wondering why that wasn't cleared.
