How an inch can change everything

I was just playing with myself on the wei table, and seeing how much difference an inch can make.
I broke the balls with the 8 ball break button, removed balls 9-15 to give me a random layout to practice cyber-running.
The first sequence is from the original random layout. The second sequence is from me moving the 2-ball just enough for the 3 to block the pocket. It's such a tiny alteration, but everything had to change from start to finish. A fascinating game, isn't it?

The Html didn't work for me again, so again with the long links. Sorry. I'll get the hang of it soon.

The first pattern was excellent, you worked the table in sections and left the last 3 balls perfect. You did good on the second pattern also, you got rid of the troubled 3 ball early and left plenty of options with the last 3 balls. Good job...

Thanks. It just hits home for me how there are some basic rules you can play by that work for almost any layout, and the layouts have such limitless variation. Here, just rolling the 2-ball an inch lower forced me into a sequence that hardly resembles the first one. It's not a sister or brother pattern; it's a cousin twice removed.

Use the URL link instead of the HTML and place it between the WEI links, it is the button on the far right of the original Cuetable. Like this

If you look at the page numbers on the table, they only go up to 1. There are actually 8 or 9 pages in the sequence. This happens when I either edit someone else's sequence, getting rid of their first page, or I forget to save the first page before adding new pages.
Maybe I'll contact Wei to see how I can get around this problem.
Thanks,
Jeff

Funny though, whenever you click on the pencil icon on the table that I posted, the full edit table with all 9 pages that you created comes up in a new window.

The pages are all there, but, just not linking in the post.

Yeah, strange. I just contacted Wei through the cuetable site. I'll post the solution when it comes.

The main reason I have not responded to many of your recent posts in this forum has to do with the fact that it is taking an extremely long time for the CueTable diagrams to load on my screen. In several instances it has locked up my browser completely. I think it has a lot to do with the ads o the CueTable and the ads on this website.

Hopefully they fix whatever is going wrong - until then I won't be using the CueTable or opening any posts that are using it either. Lately its just turned into a big pain in the ass, which is why I save my diagrams as picture files and post them via photobucket.

Maybe it has to do with the operating system you're using. Have you checked with Wei about it? I haven't had any trouble with it. I'm using XP.

I'm using Firefox and XP... Only issue I've had with it is the same as blue pepper.
Might be a much smaller issue than ya' think, Blackjack.

I fixed it and its working better for me now. Not sure what was wrong - but it seems to have fixed itself after I restarted my PC.

Probably had an update of sorts that wouldn't take effect until you restarted.
