How beneficial is an aiming system?

You are certainly correct concerning this statement!!!

I would play anyone with a 10 second shot clock.....Earl is the only one that can play at that rate and still maintain a "championship level".

Playing pool slowly is like watching grass grow or water freeze....borrrrrring :boring2:

Earl and Tony Drago. It could be argued that Earl is better than Drago, though it's tough to say because we haven't actually seen a tournament with an enforced 10 second shot clock. Nonetheless, those two would probably fare the best at it, IMHO. Luc Salvas is also good at high speed but not at Drago's level.

Troll boy, if 8pack would show up in the area, with some weight, I'd play him for money. Here's what's more important. If you ever make a trip to the USA, include Indianapolis on the agenda. I'd definitely play you for money. It would be worth a few hundred bucks to me to see how big your mouth is when you're face to face with someone. My money says you're a useless troll and keyboard warrior.

.I would be willing to put up 5k or 10k to play him

I would love to play Tony Drago with a 10 second shot clock.....I will be willing to put up 5k or 10k to play him if it could be arranged. As long as there's a mandatory roll out after the break I'd be willing to play anyone but Earl this format here in Dallas or Ft. Worth Texas.

"Aiming Systems" certainly don't work if the player can't hit the cue ball precisely. It would be the same thing in Golf or Tennis.....it doesn't matter how you "aim" if you can't hit the ball straight!!!

The reason TOI helps players is not because it's an "aiming system" because it's not....it's an overall playing system that tell you IMMEDIATELY that you aren't hitting the cue ball accurately...."center ball" won't give you the immediate feedback because the ball may deflect/veer either way...with TOI it will either go straight or ONE WAY....this gives much better instant feedback and this enables the player to make quicker adjustments with more confidence. 'The TOI Game is the Teacher'

I agree.
I use toi more then ever, not only when it's needed. I think toi ,too are both good at giving feedback . Cause of my misses (outside center cb)are pretty much one culprit ......wrong
speed.

Actually pocketing balls is nothing about an aiming system.
To me it's about how you create the right Angle.

There's a lot of different views on this toi ,who's right .... who's wrong???
I say who cares ,one really needs to work it into their game.
Learning the whole cb is a must.

Thanks for giving us a different way to play the game .
