How did you get your negative rep points?

You get negative rep points if someone does not agree with something you have to say.

Although i had said I didnt like the way the IPT was marketing itself, at some point i said i still was going to go to Reno. Some super anti IPT guy gave me bad rep from one of his identities.

I've gotten negative rep at least twice. On both occasions for an unflattering comment I made about breakup. I guess a lot of people are unfamiliar with his attributes.


P.S. - I also think one guy said, "it's unfair to compare the anti-Christ to breakup.....the anti-Christ has no chance here to defend himself(?herself?)."

Thanks for the rep! I know that people typically give negative rep to people who post things that offend them or to posts that they feel are inappropriate. I was more asking for stories about malicious negative rep.

You Need A 'Rep' Taster.... imo

I know you probably won't believe this but, I've received bad Rep points. I've gotten to a point where I'm afraid to even check my Rep points, because I think someone may have slipped some poison in among my points in hopes that I would EAT some of them....
I once received a whole basket of GOOD Rep points that had an asp hidden in it. A little asp killed Cleopatra, but I'm much more vigilant.

I was given a negative rep for telling it like it is. But it is ok, because opinions are are just like butt holes and while they are not all identical they all serve the same purpose in the end!!!!:D

This thread leads me to a question I've been wondering about. We know that the more rep points a member has, the more rep points you get when they give you rep. What happens, then, if someone who is in the red (such as Cuetechasaurus, for example) gives you negative rep?

P.S.--I'm not trying to call Cuetech out or anything, but he is just the most obvious example of someone in the red.

I know that when someone has little or no rep, you cannot receive any rep from them. If they give you rep, you can see their comments, but the square next to their comments is grey instead of green, and you are given no points for it.

I assume that it is the same story for someone who has red rep. Anyone with red rep, feel free to give me some rep for this (good or bad) and I'll post the result. :D

It would be hilarious if it would result in the opposite points from what they are trying to give. :p
 
got some from the same person as you once a couple months back. Was in response to some I gave him, and not to anything I had said.

i think you're hilarious, but that doesn't make me a stalker...
and by the way, it was someone else who gave the negative rep, but i'm not going to dig any deeper into that.
 
Red is negative and green is positive, right?

What about blue/grey, what does that mean? I got one with no comment posted next to it.
